Tina Folks- Ceramic Sculptor
As an artist, Tina Folks has been working with clay for over 25 years. Her recent work has had a spiritually driven purpose; to explore the ancient archetypes of animals and their meanings represented in indigenous cultures and how they relate to her current life’s experience. "While working in this direction, I've come to learn a lot more about power animals and their medicine and how they can be guides for us in our daily lives. This continues to be an interesting journey for me. My work finally feels authentic and this is exciting."

Tina holds a BA in Studio Art from Marymount College in Tarrytown, NY and a BFA in Ceramic Design from Parsons School of Design in NYC.
She currently lives in Patchogue, LI and shares an art studio with her husband, Bryan Gutman. Tina also serves on the Board of Directors for the East End Arts Council in Riverhead, New York and has recently been named Gallery Director of Celadon, the affiliate gallery to The Clay Art Guild of the Hamptons in Watermill, NY.
